- Mr. Spelchekr comes from a small, dwindling line of peoples who think it's important to write well; to spell words correctly, to use punctuation when it's actually called for, and to hopefully use the right word in the right place (saying 'that's a moot point', rather than 'that's a mute point', for example). However, Mr. Spelchekr does NOT claim to 'know everything' on these topics - just to be decently competent at them, and wishing everyone was good at them... but of course, then there would be no need for the Illiterate Nation blog, then, would there?
